Our Concept:

Truly authentic holistic living in a low-key family environment where you can be as relaxed or as active as you like.  Ki-Ra is about Being the Change You Wish to See, your way, all ways...

At Ki-Ra, we create space for healing and reconnection  without removing fun, quality or style from the equation! Our concept takes health and happiness as the foundation for holistic living and provides a platform of healthy eating and inspiring daily activities in a beautiful coastal setting. Each day at Ki-Ra we experience the richness of life, finding time to reconnect to our natural rhythms and the inspiration to be our highest self. At Ki-Ra you can enjoy the botanical gardens and orchards, secluded areas for private meditations, effective natural health therapies and a variety of activities from island excursions  to mandala drawing and more! We offer regular retreats and workshops, often collaborating with other practitioners and teachers.  Our food is from the Earth, as much as possible is home grown using permaculture methods, and all is prepared with love and a knowledge of healing tropical cuisine.

Holistic Health:

Holistic health implies the health of the whole, and this extends to our environment and our relationships. The emphasis on an informative approach to natural health and “holistic living” is reflected throughout all Ki-Ra’soperating practices and activities.

At Ki-Rayou can experience a natural treatment for its simple health giving/maintaining benefits or enroll in a healing program which may last some time, one that will take you through a deep cleansing and healing process. Or simply enjoy the natural nurture, Caribbean style!

Food as Medicine:

Food is one of the main pillars for healthy living, so we really enjoy making fresh, local and tropical dishes that indulge the senses and stimulate the body to heal.

Given the variety and abundance of the Dominican Republic, we are able to offer an extensive vegetarian menu and for those wishing to participate in deeper healing or detoxifying programs, there are daily menus and programs designed specifically for their needs.

What we cannot supply ourselves we source from local producers and try to be as organic as possible. Our botanical garden provides the majority of the herbal medicines used in our treatments and these beautiful plants are also used in  our daily teas and juices.

We LOVE to see people heal with food!  It makes us smile!
